LAYR.（全名 LAYR, Atelier 見層室），為 Layer 的縮寫（唸法相同），意指「圖層、層次」等意象。創立於 2018 年，前身為 Atelier.63，由杜碩捷 Jay Tu 創立。2022 年由現任總監林奕亨 Henry Lin. 接任營運，並於 2026 年正式以全新的品牌形象與大家見面。我們期許透過這樣的轉變，回歸原有秉持的 think deeper 初衷，以全新的視角，一層一層地思考、剖析客戶的需求，最後再透過不同層次的方式，帶給每件作品專屬的面貌。
LAYR. — full name LAYR, Atelier — derives its name from the word “layer,” evoking layers and depth. Founded in 2018 as Atelier.63 by Jay Tu, the studio’s operations were taken over by its current director, Henry Lin, in 2022. In 2026, we reintroduced ourselves with a renewed identity: LAYR. Through this transition, we return to the original spirit of “think deeper.” With a fresh perspective, we examine every brief layer by layer, unpack each client’s needs, and give every project a character entirely its own.
畢業於樹德科技大學。現為 LAYR. 總監與主理人。帶領團隊激發思考與美感養成，挑戰創新思維，與客戶一同創造精彩作品。此外，也曾擔任商業品牌形象顧問，協助客戶梳理品牌脈絡、自身定位與制定品牌策略等。也投身設計教育，擔任演講者及客座講師，透過自身經歷，分享給新興設計師更多元的觀點。至今帶領團隊多次榮獲不同獎項肯定，包含德國紅點傳達設計獎（當中包含 Best of the Best 和 Winner）、美國傳達設計獎、金點設計獎等。其中曾以《花蓮美術館》作品，榮獲 2023 金點設計獎視覺傳達類 - 年度最佳設計獎。2025 年再以《2025 新一代設計展：可欲未來，我想像的未來》再次入圍年度最佳設計獎。對於設計，至今仍然秉持著「坐而言不如起而行」的信念，投入心力。也透過這樣的思維，將多元觀點與不同的設計視角，穿梭於不同類型的產業之中，創造更多的可能性。
A graduate of Shu-Te University, Henry Lin is the director and principal of LAYR. He leads the team in cultivating critical thinking and visual sensibility, challenging familiar conventions, and creating compelling work together with clients. He has also worked as a brand image consultant, helping clients clarify their brand histories, define their positioning, and develop brand strategies. Beyond practice, he is involved in design education as a speaker and guest lecturer, offering emerging designers a broader range of perspectives. Under his direction, the team has received numerous honors, including the Red Dot Award: Communication Design—including Best of the Best—the Communication Arts Design Award, and the Golden Pin Design Award. In 2023, Hualien Art Museum received the Golden Pin Design Award’s Best Design Award in Visual Communication Design. In 2025, “2025 YODEX: Preferred Future — Exhibition Identity Design” was again shortlisted for Best Design Award. To this day, his approach remains guided by the belief that actions speak louder than words. This conviction keeps him actively invested in the work, moving diverse viewpoints and visual approaches across different industries to create new possibilities.
